Your account has been affected by a database problem on our end. Our sincere apologies for this inconvenience. We are working to restore your account to the way it was prior to Sunday, November 24th. Meanwhile, please do not conduct any activities with this account such as messaging, shopping, submitting products, etc.

Please note that starting at 7:30 AM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, November 24th 2013, many of our customers (but not all) experienced problems with their accounts as they logged in. Their accounts were essentially in a "reset" status with missing inventory, missing friends lists, missing VIP/Marriage/Age verification status, wrong registration dates etc.
This was all caused by a malfunctioning database - among the many we have for storing customer data. Of course, we have backups for all the data. The team has been working diligently throughout the day to identify the root cause and fix it.
The database restoration is currently in progress. It is a long and detailed process and will take up to 36-48 hours. Once done, all the affected accounts will be fully restored to their previous status. We may have to to additional work to restore information for products submitted or purchased between the time period of 7:30 AM and 4 PM (pacific time) on Sunday. We will provide more information as soon as it is available.
We are going to message all affected accounts tonight with this information.
Please accept our most sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this issue. We will make every attempt to get your account fully restored as soon as possible. We understand and appreciate our valuable community members like you and know how important your IMVU experience and friendships are to you. This was a technical failure on our part and we will ensure it is fixed completely.
